Mainero MDD-200 harvesting 15-inch corn rows
The Advantage

True Row
Independence

One head handles 15″, 20″, 30″ & 36″ spacings simultaneously — zero reconfiguration.

The MDD-200 IRT is a third-generation row-independent head built to harvest in any direction at any row spacing. Narrow, shallow stainless steel snouts ease stalks into row units at any angle. Pivoting spring-loaded tips self-adjust to reduce damage when running off-row. End fender augers pull in leaning and downed stalks at the outer edges — standard equipment.

Mainero IRT end roll support
The Advantage

IRT Stalk
Rolls

Eight hardened serrated blades. Crimps multiple times per pass. No extra power draw.

Designed for U.S. field conditions, the IRT serrated blades create an aggressive crimping action as they pull the stalk through the rollers. Multiple crimps per pass reduce MOG entering the combine. IRT roll scrapers are serrated to prevent wrapping in high-moisture corn. Residue decomposes faster — better results for no-till operations.

Mainero stainless steel snout design
The Advantage

Stainless
Steel Snouts

Patented open-side design. Pivoting spring-loaded tips. Headsight-ready standard.

The open-side, slim-width snout eases stalks into the row unit at any angle or row spacing — improving crop flow, reducing ear loss, and maintaining ground speed through short stalks, goose-necking, and downed corn. Stainless steel resists corrosion and eliminates static to further improve crop flow.

Mainero patented 11-lug timed gathering chains
The Advantage

Timed Gathering
Chains

Patented 11-lug design. One stalk per lug pair. Even feeding every pass.

The patented offset sprocket widens the stalk entry gap for easier capture. CA2801 chains with 66 pitches and 11 timed conveying lugs ensure each pair manages exactly one stalk — preventing bunching and uneven feeding at high speed. Row unit skid plates prevent chains from digging in and picking up rocks.

Mainero deck plates — open
The Advantage

Hydraulic
Deck Plates

Auto-adjust standard equipment. Cab-visible indicator. No field stops.

MDD-200 deck plates are hydraulically adjustable as standard — not an upgrade. A cab-visible position indicator shows the gap to the operator at all times. No stopping between fields. No manual adjustment. Consistent gap control directly reduces shelling losses at the deck plate interface.

Mainero oil-bath roller chain drive system
The Advantage

Oil-Bath
Drive System

60° yoke PTO. ASA 80H roller chain. Dual independent auger drives.

The 60° free-rotation yoke PTO accommodates head angle changes without driveline stress. ASA 80H oil-bath roller chain with auto-tensioner drives the row units. Dual independent auger drives run on hex shafts with spherical bearings — each with a preloaded, non-adjustable safety clutch. All gearboxes oil-bath for long-interval maintenance.
